Harshal Patel Shines in IPL 2024 with Punjab Kings

Harshal Patel had a remarkable IPL 2024 season. After being released by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he was signed by Punjab Kings (PBKS) for ₹11.75 crores.

The 33-year-old pacer lived up to expectations, delivering another impressive performance with the ball. Although he had a slow start, Harshal found his rhythm, finishing the season with 24 wickets in 18 matches at an economy rate of 9.73. Despite Punjab Kings finishing ninth on the points table with just 10 points, Harshal, along with Ashutosh Sharma and Shashank Singh, was a bright spot in their campaign.

Harshal Patel has also played for Team India in 25 T20Is, with his last appearance in January 2023 against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium. In that match, India won by two runs, with Harshal taking two wickets.
