According to Engadget, when they clicked on the Meta AI icon, they could talk with the chatbot right from their DM, like talking to a friend.
Some people on social media said that the Meta AI chatbot can help them find reels about a certain topic. This means they might not need to use Instagram search anymore.
What is Meta AI?
Last September, Meta introduced Meta AI during the Meta Connect 2023 event. They want to include this smart AI system in all their social media apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
Meta AI works by combining a special model called Llama 2 with Meta’s own Large Language Model (LLM) research. It aims to make conversations on social media feel more natural and easy. Also, Meta teamed up with Microsoft’s Bing to add real-time information to chats.
